Nairobi Club has a membership of over 2,000 drawn from the middle and top level executives and professions in Kenya.
The Club exists as a society of men and women who respect service traditions and who share the facilities of the clubhouse for their enjoyment and recreation.

In general, a potential member requires the sponsorship of a Proposer and Seconder, both of whom must have been Full Members for at least three years and must have known the Candidate for at least three months. The Proposer writes a letter introducing the candidate to the Balloting Committee after which the Balloting process starts.
